The waves, ephemeral sculptures frozen in their turmoil, reveal through black and white a silent roar, illuminating both chaos and harmony. Forces of Waves questions our relationship with this untamed force, both creative and destructive, which shapes shores and forms, imposing its rhythm on the world.
Yannick Ribeaut is a French photographer and visual artist born in 1972 near Bordeaux. His work explores the relationship between humans and their environment through documentary and artistic approaches. He holds a Master’s from the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (ENSP) in Arles and a degree in multimedia art direction. He teaches photography, graphic design, and UX/UI design. His work has been featured in Le Monde, Libération, and Télérama, and shown alongside William Klein and Helmut Newton.
