When we move through cities, we perceive our surroundings from a multitude of perspectives due to the constant change of location. This continuous process of perception is reflected in my multi-layered city portraits and capriccios. In order to escape the restrictions of photography to a specific section, I let my photographs from different genres flow together again in a free composition to form an overall picture. My multi-perspective photo collages are based on the painting style of the veduta painter Giovanni Antonio Canal, known as Canaletto (1697-1768)
Ich bin ein deutscher Fotokünstler und Kalendermacher und beschäftige mich seit vielen Jahren mit den erweiterten Möglichkeiten der digitalen Fotografie. In meinen Fotocollagen und Fotoarrangements entwickelte ich eine eigene Bildsprache, die die physikalischen Grenzen und herkömmlichen Perspektivvorstellungen der Fotografie überwindet.
