This series is the way to examine quiet transitions within the self — between youth and age, presence and absence, thought and emotion. Each portrait reflects a moment of self-immersion. The series began from a personal space — an urge to capture what is not always visible: the quiet shifts in identity, the moments when you feel yourself changing but can’t quite say how. I became interested in that in-between space — between younger and older, between stillness and emotion, between how we’re seen and how we feel inside. Each image is, in a way, a self-observation.
I'm an amateur photographer emphasizing on portraiture. I'm thrilled by fine art portraits style as the style that has deep meanings, that makes you stop and think. "Talking" portraits evoked in me a desire to try to create portraits with meanings that force to think and to expand thoughts out of what is just seen.
