Charcoal The people who make the black flame (charcoal) in Malayssia. Thay work on charcoal burning i the early morning to avoid the intense heat of the midday sun. They work in harsh environments, with dust and flames. They roast charcoal, controlling the flames that rise into the sky as if dancing. In the dust and heat, they are drenched in sweat. Then, they take a breather with a cigarette. After the gas has spread and the fire has risen, they pick out the finished charcoal with long shovels. Charcoal burners who work tirelessly even in dust and harsh environments are admirable.
