This year, frosts reached -45 Celsius. Reserve inspectors protect swans from poachers. Swans try to stay near the lake, since the lake has warm springs and is not so cold. On this early frosty morning, due to the visual effects, I got the impression of anxiety, the approach of exciting, unexpected events. The swans hovered in the foggy haze not like birds, but like shadows of fairy tale characters. I tried to capture this.
