Dawn After Darkness

    Chieh-Hsiu Lee

When I find myself farther from the ground and closer to the sky, I feel like there is finally space for my sadness, worries, and unspoken troubles to be placed and be heard. This book shows the images I’d taken over the past few years while climbing. The content shares what mountains mean to me and how my thoughts change when I climb. Whenever I feel lost, I go into the mountains to find calmness. The different textures of the pages recreate the softness of the ground, the roughness of tree bark, and the feeling of being surrounded by clouds.
