After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, Armenia faced a long economic crisis. Most of the large factories were closed and, today, they have become the symbol of a past era. Near Yerevan there is a large brick factory. The yellowish dust of the old artifacts transforms the place into a true palette of delicate and pastel colors. The nature and the sky enter among the ancient machineries, giving them a magical and suspenseful atmosphere, like a fine dust of a remote planet.
