This photo captures the facade of an office building in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, a district where business, commerce, and art intersect. Taken from below, it highlights the layered, flowing curves of the design, with strong black-and-white contrast emphasizing their rhythmic movement.
I don’t depict a building’s function or size; I look for the form within. Repeating patterns, lines and planes, and a bold spectrum of color appear to me as pure form. I distill architecture to form, and photography is the medium through which I render and realize it.
