This photo shows the facade of the Seoul Museum of Photography, completed in 2025. Its layered linear exterior changes with light, embodying photography’s capture of light and time. Shot when shadows were most defined, it emphasizes the rhythm of lines through strong black-and-white contrast.
I don’t depict a building’s function or size; I look for the form within. Repeating patterns, lines and planes, and a bold spectrum of color appear to me as pure form. I distill architecture to form, and photography is the medium through which I render and realize it.
