The japanese principle of minimalism, focusing on the elimination of clutter in favor of simplicity. It is one of seven principles of zen philosophy. Ultimately, kanso seeks to find beauty in unadorned forms and encourages a sense of tranquility and armony by focusing on the essential qualities of an object or space.
