In French, Green cabbage, Cabbage green is used to qualify things or situation thought of as different which are yet very similar. In a colourful surrealist image, the photographer tackle the expression literally to questions the mental processes we use to identify or differentiate people or things. The image is an (obvious) hommage to Magritte's "Reproduction interdite", but reversed, as the real character shouldn't be facing the camera. Or possibly there's no real character. She's just caught between reflections and everything is illusion, including identity. Who knows...
