The trees at Cherry Beach on Lake Ontario are quite majestic, particularly on a misty fall day. I have a small collection of old film cameras. this image was taken with one of them, a Fujica Six medium format folding camera.
I’m a freelance art director with a passion for photography. It began with the treasured family pictures my parents brought from Italy when we immigrated to Canada These snapshots of family and places from the past triggered strong emotions which no doubt had a great influence on me as a photographer. I enjoy working in both digital and analog formats. While digital photography offers limitless creative possibilities, there’s something about the tactile process of analog that transports me back to the excitement of developing my first photo in the high school darkroom.
