The Houses Will Gradually Disappear

A photo project to mark the old apartment blocks in Hanoi (VN) as a “living witness” of a period in history-“subsidy period” - when modern urban planning is gradually eliminating these old blocks and replace them with skyscrapers. The question is: How to develop sustainably and still preserving old memories? I approach the project not only from the perspective of an outside observer but also from within, to create a closer connection with my "character" and to allow the audience to delve deeper into the story.

Viet Van Tran was born 1971 in Ha Noi, Viet Nam, B.A Cultural, now is a special reporter for Lao Dong newspaper (Vietnam).
