The Transience of Modernity

Nothing is more fleeting than modern technology. What is the latest and most modern today can be outdated tomorrow. This may be because better technologies are developed or because studies show that supposedly modern technology is extremely harmful to the environment. This also applies to power plants that use fossil fuels to generate electricity. Studies and research have now proven that fossil fuels contribute massively to global warming. This definitely makes this type of electricity generation questionable. On the cold winter night, the cloud looked like sweet cotton candy.

I am 54 years old and live in Seligenstadt, Hesse. For many years, I worked as a landscape gardener, where I was able to work creatively with nature. Due to tragic events, I can no longer pursue my profession, which gave me time to devote more intensively to photography. Initially, it was primarily while traveling and in nature that I discovered abstract and contemporary photography. With a camera, you can create beautiful, individual works of art; you just have to get involved. This doesn't happen at the push of a button, however; it happens intuitively, based on the situation.
