Due to the changing climate, winters are becoming warmer and snow is rare here in the flatlands where I live. To capture snow covered landscapes, traveling to the mountains is a necessity. This was taken at Serbia's biggest ski resort, Kopaonik. I was fascinated by the ambience in the mountains. Everything was covered with a thick layer of snow. I had never seen that much snow in my life. The snow covered spruce trees reminded me of scenes from Lapland, every tree had its own character. This particular scene caught my eye with its simplicity and calmness.
