The main issue is Europe's dependence on Rare Earth Elements, crucial for key technologies such as wind turbines, electric mobility engines, and electronics. Currently, China holds a monopoly on these raw materials. One possible solution is the recycling of products containing Rare Earth Elements. Chemist Gianluca Torta is developing an industrial process to recover these critical substances from electric motors that contain permanent magnets made with these elements

Fiorella Baldisserri, classical studies and an interest in art in all its forms, is a photographer from Bologna who loves traveling both by profession and by passion.
