COVID-19 has caused the world economy to plunge into a severe recession, and many countries around the world have been severely affected. In the city where I live, the economy has inevitably been severely affected. To this day, it is still difficult for many industries to return to pre-epidemic levels. As a photographer, I have photographed businessmen in many industries. Some of them are confused, some are helpless, some are full of confidence, and some are full of expectations. They are waiting for the arrival of business and the realization of their dreams.
Chris Yan, photographer, designer, was born in Beijing, China in 1981. After graduating from Communication University of China with a degree in art and design, he started working for a number of international advertising agencies. In 2013 he founded his own company, focusing on commercial design and art creation, and began photography. He mainly explores humanities and street photography. For the past ten years, he has been photographing in different countries and currently he lives and works in Beijing.
