NAKED WITH THE TRUTH “The essence of trauma is that it overwhelms the brain's ability to cope with reality. Trauma is not just an event that took place sometime in the past; it is also the imprint left by that experience on mind, brain, and body.” (Bessel van der Kolk in: The body keeps the score). Traumas, experiences from your early life, you store and carry with you in your body. In my work I investigate the human body as a carrier of previous experiences, in an attempt to give meaning to my own story.
