I was surprised to find the huge hippie movement still alive in the heart of Western Europe.I study real-life examples of living by hippie values in the 21st-century world. The fundamental principles of the community remain the same as they were in the 70s: awareness and consciousness, presence and co-creation, respect and consent, self-responsibility and mindfulness, sustainability, and a positive footprint. I see an opportunity for a better world with more people embracing these values.

Anna Korbut (b. 1989) is a visual artist from Ukraine working with photography and mixed media, currently based in Switzerland. She explores the relationships between humans and nature and deeply engages with Anthropocene issues, starting a dialogue with science at a time of advanced climate change. Anna also delves into the individual's inner world and interpersonal connections. She experiments with digital and analogue techniques, drawing inspiration from mountains' beauty, Augusto Giacometti's and Helen Frankenthaler's vivid colours, Auguste Rodin's sculptures, and Erich Fromm's texts.
