Grace Savage, DIY artist and beat boxer, married to actor and writer Jade Anouka, whose child she is carrying in this frame. As a queer interracial couple, choosing to have children through IVF has not been an easy path. Their first child (carried by Jade) is sat on the floor. Here, a contemporary approach has been taken to a more classic portraiture style, aiming to subvert historical traditional ideals of what a family looks like.
