Davide Bortot and Francesca Truzzi made a life choice: they bought a truck, transforming it into a mobile home. Equipped with solar panels and facilities to create a traveling cinema, the family traveled, projecting films in remote locations until 2020. The pandemic interrupted their travels, but during the lockdown, they participated in initiatives through grants in Italy, bringing the cinema to small towns. In 2023, they resumed activities, including Tunisia. With two daughters, Leila aged 3, and Zaira aged 5, Le Cinema du Desert is a sustainable cinema aimed at promoting culture
Fiorella Baldisserri, classical studies and an interest in art in all its forms, is a photographer from Bologna who loves traveling both by profession and by passion.
