I have spent many years photographing horses and have published two books on equine photography. This particular photograph captures a young Lithuanian Heavy Draft stallion on an early summer morning. The serene morning light gently illuminates the powerful physique and graceful demeanor of this majestic animal, showcasing the beauty and strength of the Lithuanian Heavy Draft breed. Stasys Povilaitis was born in Kaunas on 31 October 1948. From 1966 to 1973, he studied at Panev?žys Evening Faculty of Kaunas Polytechnic Institute. A member of the Lithuanian Photographers Association from 1989.
