Cryotherapy for flowers – Giving flowers another life by freezing them in blocks of ice before photographing. Random cracks in the ice and air bubbles create texture and refract the light at different angles allowing for a completely new look. Once the composition is removed from the freezer, I bathe the block in water, letting it melt gradually. Still images are taken at various stages which then will be manipulated further digitally, often with a multitude of layers.
