In 2024, despite the ongoing war and extensive damage from rockets and drones, Kharkiv hosted its annual classical music festival, KharkivMusicFest. The opening concert took place in a large basement hall, reflecting the city's unwavering spirit. The Kyiv Camerata orchestra, led by Spanish conductor Roc Fargas, performed just before their prestigious concert at Carnegie Hall in New York. This event became a powerful symbol of cultural resilience and hope in a time of adversity.
