On Saturday evening at 8:15 PM, the first Norwegian flight from Cairo landed at Gardermoen with 80 evacuees from Gaza. Friends and family had gathered to welcome their loved ones. Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre, also visited the reception center to welcome the evacuees. Family man and husband Safwat Diab (57) was reunited with his wife, daughter, and sons after being trapped in the Gaza Strip during a visit to his hometown since October 7.
