Inspired by Oswald de Andrade's Anthropophagic Manifesto (1928), this project reworks cultural identity through artistic 'digestion.' The title, a parody of Hamlet's question, references the Tupí, a Brazilian indigenous ethnic group, and examines South American self-perception. The Manifesto emphasizes transforming European influences into unique art. The artist, immersed in Budapest, captures local culture, landscapes, and symbols from an distinct perspective. This photographic series creates a parallel present, highlighting the tension between the city's continuity and the artist's vision.
