A series of documentary landscape images examining the environment of the floodplain of the River Otter Estuary in East Devon, England. Exploring, interpreting and recording the landscape of this important intertidal saltmarsh and mudflat area currently being enhanced, in light of climate change, for future generations. Shot medium-format digitally, the images were converted in Photoshop to monochrome using DXO Silver Efex.
Nick Hodgson is a British documentary landscape photographer based in London. He graduated from Falmouth University with an MA in Photography in 2020, and is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society (FRPS). His first monograph, Free Mines, Coal Faces, has just been published by VIKA Books.
