Recent extreme weathers have caused deaths and destruction across the Philippines. Hit by flooding, super typhoons, landslides and rising sea levels, the Southeast Asian country has seen multiple casualties, including kids, thousands displaced, and low-lying residential areas of the poor population submerged in waters. While facing economic and life losses, people’s living standards and children’s rights to a safe and normal livelihood have also been threatened by such weather events. This is an alarm for all to take action to change the situation before it is too late.

25-year-old Daniel Ceng is an award-winning Asian photojournalist covering politics, social issues, war and more across the world, including Europe, Middle-East, Asia, and Southeast Asia.
