My third book covers the recovery and restoration of the Channel Islands National Park from ranching islands to a return to a natural balance from the perspective of a kayak. I've been paddling and writing about the islands' recovery for nearly 30 years. Just about each chapter begins with a kayaking story that transitions into a conservation success story around this unique, and one of the least visited national parks in North America. It's 140 pages with 170 photos. All the chapters were written by me, and many of my photos were taken from a kayak.
