Artistic self-portrait as therapy Every human being walks in the shadows, once or several times in their life. There is still no elixir that allows us to be well at every moment, at every stage. Our existence is determined by ourselves and seeking responsibility for the imbalances that torment the soul is not an option. Our own well-being depends solely on our person. We are architects of our own destiny; and catharsis, it is a way in which art finds a pretext to transform itself into therapy, into a healthy alternative to discharge negative energy and turn it into a light of hope.
