In Ukraine, in Bessarabia, a festival for shearing sheep's wool is held once a year! Sheep are fattened all year long so that the wool is cut off from them and eventually slaughtered for meat! During the shearing process, not all sheep survive because sharp scissors are used that sometimes pierce the sheep and they die from blood loss! Such sheep are then slaughtered for meat and cooked into a delicious kurban! This haircut reminded me of how people pay taxes and then sometimes barely make ends meet! In this I see a deep philosophy of life!
