This panorama was created on top of a high ridge I scrambled up in Mt Cook/Aoraki National Park in New Zealand. As I stood watching the sun go down, the sky suddenly became alive with color and clouds floating half way around the peaks became illuminated with brilliant light. Such a sight I have rarely seen.
