I have always been fascinated by the power of architecture to shape and reflect the human experience. Here, I explore the theme of isolation and sanctuary through the lens of four churches in Saskatchewan, Canada. Taken during the brutal winter months, each photograph captures a unique perspective on the relationship between the harsh climate and the sanctity of these sacred spaces. Through this series, I hope to convey the beauty and power of these small but mighty structures, and the important role they play, or have played, in the lives of those who call Saskatchewan home.
