Vive Vide is a series of photographs of deserted streets and places and abandoned buildings in the Deux-Sèvres area of France that I have been working on over the past few years. Vive usually means 'lively' or 'long live' and Vide can mean 'empty space/empty', 'bare' or 'vacant'. All images were shot on a Sinar P 4x5 large format camera.
