I prefer the partly formed early generation AI renderings to the hyperreal images that strive to imitate reality. Here, I make no pretense of presenting reality or even photography, it's simply a celebration of the freedom available in this hybrid medium that excites me.I own all copyrights to the images and all are from my own archives & reference surrealism, painting and unconscious dream states. The raft is at times a coffin, a mattress, centerfold spread, a therapy couch and literally a life raft adrift in a flooded city. This series is based on self portraits on a raft at night.
