Through A Glass Darkly, My Childhood

It was a hot summer day when I revisited my childhood place in an old public housing estate in Tai Po, Hong Kong where my parent still resides. Looking up to the well structure surrounded by this orderly and repetitive geometrical patterns, the tunnel vision triggered an emotional flashback to my childhood memories created inside the building, which still haunt me after all these years. When I took this picture with my phone, I fixed the lens focus on the end of the tunnel, with a blue sky and clouds, it is the window, the exit, and the lights in the middle of this past and present darkness.
