After The Freeze

Last year we had a terrible late freeze and snow which killed most of the buds on our fruit trees. Yet the daffodils bloomed away through it all. To commemorate the event, I put some of the smiling yellow flowers into a baking dish filled with water, then put that into our family freezer. The next morning I photographed the frozen daffodils.
