At the peak of the pandemic healthcare workers were at the end of their rope: after several waves and many months of hard work [1,2] thousands of patients have been transferred to the ICUs [3], patients being transported to hospital seem to wonder if there will be a return journey [4], sometimes there wasn’t enough ambulances to help everyone [5]: the pandemic feels endless. In these moments, a short break with a child [6,7] left alone with the hospital staff (his mother is in isolation) seems like a way to exorcise just for a moment the pandemic, thinking about the future. We must keep going.
