Collateral Damage: Innocent Civilians In Ukraine

In Ukraine, the civilians are being affected most unfairly—targeted by ruthless Russian airstrikes consistently—and taking the brunt of war's "collateral" damage. In cities throughout the country, from the capital of Kyiv to the major city of Kharkiv, Kramatorsk to Severodonetsk innocent civilians have been killed and their homes reduced to rubble. Despite the cruel attacks many brave Ukrainians have decided to stay. Russia has undoubtedly committed war crimes, yet many remain proud and defiant, trying to live as normally as possible in a fight to demonstrate their freedom and independence.
