The Wonderland Book is created in memory of Mitchell's mother who died from cancer in 2008. This deeply personal project has taken 5 years to create, with a further 2 years to bring the book to fruition. This huge volume contains over 640 photographs, featuring all 74 pieces in the Wonderland series, as well as extensive behind the scenes imagery of the shoots and the costumes made by Kirsty. The book also contains the journal kept by Kirsty throughout the duration of the project, which explains the development and meaning of the works, as well as the emotions she experienced behind the lens.
