In Slavic mythology, dried fern has the role of an amulet, to protect the house from evil spirits. I wanted to achieve a symbiosis of tradition and a woman who has always been a pillar of family and home.
Biljana Radojicic, born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, is a self- taught, Award-winning photographer who has always been passionate about art, life and beauty in every form. She always has been inspired by the female body and faces and carries this inspiration out in her captivating self-portraits in which she plays very different roles. Woman, as well as her emotional nature, have always been in her research focus. Inner life, interpersonal relations, are an eternal inspiration for her.
