The Next Station: New Normal
The world has been struck by the coronavirus, and Taiwan, an used-to-be oasis of normality and peacefulness, has also failed to triumph over Covid since a major outbreak in May
This is not simply a frame of Taiwanese military officers in PPE taking the underground alongside citizens to disinfect public areas.
It serves as a reminder that it is necessary to bring the world back to normal by having new ways of life to coexist with the virus with resilience, adaption, acceptance and relaxation, while developing effective vaccines, treatments and medications against Covid infections.
25-year-old Daniel Ceng is an award-winning Asian photojournalist covering politics, social issues, war and more across the world, including Europe, Middle-East, Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Daniel, when he was 22, was one of the youngest photojournalists who entered Ukraine, where he documented the aftermath of the Russian invasion and its impacts on the Ukrainian livelihood.
