"The Kids of Camp I Am" series offers a glimpse into the first summer camp I attended with my 7-year-old son in 2008, where the focus was on a gender-expansive childhood being fully expressed and supported by family. I have updated the story by reconnecting with the former campers and creating portraits over a decade later. I have collaborated with the former campers in creating portraits that speak to their original images taken when they were small children. As adults, they are eager to contribute to the dialogue about the crucial role support has played in their lives.
