In the south of Ukraine, a unique lake with pink salt is on the verge of extinction. Such lakes look unusual, like the waters bordering some exotic island. In fact, the lakes are home to beneficial microalgae that secrete a special substance to survive in salt water, colouring water and salt in a soft pink colour. Of course, human activity and the barbaric looting of the unique salt has a devastating effect on the ecosystem of these lakes. I has been deeply impressed by this cosmic geometry in the shades of Le Corbusier's colour palette.
