This studio portrait is depicting the silent nature of child abuse. The main focus is on the child by having the adults hand/arm slightly out of focus to strengthen that children suffering are unable to speak out about their abuser(s). It is a problem that still requires to be highlighted as children need a voice and they require the world to open their eyes to see the little details that can stop the abuse continuing.
