These arrangements refer to calligraphy, chalkboards, cross hatching, and other drawing techniques. Embracing the inherent futility of working against gravity, while aspiring to create the weightless ease associated with drawing, interests me. The entire space is activated, each object, line and shadow are felt physically. The aftermath of previous set-ups is left visible as a reflection of the morphing of the process. Embracing instability and serendipity, the work tries to see things in a new generative way.
