Over the years I have had the pleasure of making pics of Silas and Rebecca on several occasions … stories about Aurukun’s troubled times … alcohol abuse (and the Tavern which was closed in 2008), youth suicide, sexual violence, school truancy, law enforcement and other pressing social issues … and the good times including the day the township celebrated their successful Native Title claim.
