Solar de Aguilar is a dilapidated build in Havana, Cuba. The building is a mere reminisce of what once was. The grand stair case at the entrance of the building. The wrought iron. The decay gives the building a new sort of charm. There are six families that occupy the Solar de Aguilar. Every afternoon the residence gather in the entrance of the building in front of the grand staircase and play dominoes. The game is welcome to all the old and the young, it doesn't discriminate. It gives a real sense of family, community and the heart of the Cuban people.
