The series ‘Everyday shoes’ by Nikolaj Beyer is a hommage of everyday objects. As these trivial items are mixed and inspired by fashion, we recognize the objects, though get inspired by the new creations. The series gives us an abstraction from everyday life, and focuses on the consumerism and waste of ressources, happening every day. The series is made using trash or secondhand items, to pinpoint the enormous waste.
