This is the evidence from monarchy which is a fading away type of the world's governances. Thailand is perhaps one of the last few countries in the world that people still have genuine reverence and so much love for their monarch. The king is the soul of the nation. Therefore Thailand's lese-majeste law, which forbids the insult of the monarchy, is among the strictest in the world makes Thai people don't express much about the monarchy. As a Thai 'black day' is my poetic evidence of the love, grief and sadness expressed by Thais toward the death of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej in 2016.
